Biva Himangshu Memorial Trust was founded in 2012 and subsequently registered as a Trust in 2017 by Shri Sanjay Goswami & Mrs. Nandita Sarma Goswami in loving memory and honor of their parents, Late Shri Himangshu Dev Goswami and Late Mrs. Biva Goswami. The Trust, through the philanthropic efforts of its founders, has supported a plethora of socio-cultural initiatives since its inception that aim to uplift and support the quality of life of the youngsters and senior citizens in the State of Assam. The Trust is driven towards developing holistic, spiritual, physical, and educational growth in society.
Biva Himangshu Memorial Trust supports people who are deprived of the basic necessities of life. To inculcate a culture of giving and nurturing people's lives and provide long-term support for aspiring students.
They promote upliftment in the Socio-Cultural, Educational, and humanitarian spheres. They have different projects that are Pancha Parasmoni, Covid-19 Relief & Flood Relief (2020), Sponsored Elvis Ali Hazarika, Save a Life-Care Program, Parikrama, Mortuary Van donated, Educate-Empowerment Initiative, and Dignified Living Initiative.
